2. Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing

We process data to provide the Leadgép service, including user accounts, the embeddable chat widget, AI-based quote generation, and lead management.

2.1. Registered Users (Customers)

  • Data processed: name, email, password (encrypted), company name, company details
  • Legal basis: contract performance (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b))
  • Retention: until account deletion and fulfilment of legal obligations

2.2. Website Visitors (Chat Widget Users)

  • Data processed: chat messages, name, email, phone (if provided), session ID, IP address
  • Legal basis: legitimate interest of the data controller (the business using Leadgép) (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)), or consent
  • Retention: lead data remains in the customer's account until deleted

2.3. Website Visitors (leadgep.hu)

  • Data processed: cookies, session data, browser identifier
  • Legal basis: consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a))
  • Retention: see the Cookie Policy

3. Data Processors

We use the following processors to provide the service:

  • Supabase Inc. — database hosting, user authentication
  • Vercel Inc. — web hosting, serverless functions
  • OpenAI Inc. — AI language model for quote generation and chat responses

These providers may store data outside the EU (including the USA). Transfers are governed by EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and supplementary measures where required.

4. Your Rights (EU/EEA)

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access: request information about your personal data
  • Rectification: request correction of your data
  • Erasure: request deletion ("right to be forgotten")
  • Restriction: request restriction of processing
  • Data portability: receive your data in a machine-readable format
  • Object: object to processing based on legitimate interest

5. Your Rights (California, USA – CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you may have the right to:

  • Know what personal information is collected
  • Know whether your personal information is sold or disclosed
  • Say no to the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information)
  • Access and delete your personal information
  • Non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

If you believe processing is unlawful, you may lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. For Hungary:

8. Data Security

We implement:

  • HTTPS (TLS 1.3) encrypted data transmission
  • Passwords stored with bcrypt hashing
  • Row Level Security on the database
  • Regular backups
  • Principle of least privilege
